Why Arcadia Chooses Rebalanced by Rita

Arcadia residents tend to appreciate things that look effortless, and facial balancing is exactly that when it is done with restraint. Rather than chasing one feature, Rita harmonizes the lips, cheeks, chin, and jaw together so the result simply looks like a rested, well-proportioned version of you.

The trip from Arcadia to our Old Town Scottsdale studio is quick and familiar, whether you are coming from near the Arizona Country Club or the Biltmore side. That convenience makes it simple to keep up with the temporary, adjustable HA filler that facial balancing relies on.

What Our Clients Say

Facial Balancing in Arcadia: A Whole-Face Look for an Outdoor Lifestyle

Searches for facial balancing Arcadia and facial balancing Arcadia AZ often come from people who already spend a lot of time outdoors: walking the neighborhood, running, gardening, or heading to a patio. Years of sun, movement, and the natural changes that come with age can leave a face looking a little tired or uneven. Facial balancing looks at those changes as a pattern instead of chasing one line or one hollow.

At Rebalanced by Rita, Rita Israel-Tamou, BSN, RN, uses hyaluronic acid (HA) filler and, if appropriate, Botox to support the structure of the face. Often the midface is the starting point. When the cheeks lose support, the area beneath the eyes can look more hollow, the nasolabial folds can seem deeper, and the lower face can appear heavier. Restoring gentle support in the right place can ease several of those at once.

Other clients come in thinking about a cheek or lip concern and discover during the assessment that the chin or jawline is the real story. Our goal is to treat the cause rather than only the symptom, and to say so plainly when a smaller plan will do.

What it can address

  • Mild midface flattening or loss of fullness
  • A recessed chin or soft jawline that affects overall balance
  • Lip proportions that feel out of step with the rest of the face
  • Muscle activity, such as clenching, that influences the lower face

It is designed for adults 18 and over who want to keep their own look. People considering a cheek implant often ask whether filler can do something similar. Filler offers a temporary, adjustable option, while implants are a surgical decision that you would discuss with a surgeon. Many who are curious about cheek implants vs filler start with filler because it can be dissolved and refined.

Your Visit: From Assessment to Aftercare

A balancing visit starts well before anything is injected. Here is the sequence you can expect at the Old Town studio.

Talk first. You describe what you notice in the mirror and what you hope to keep. Rita asks about your medical history, previous injectables, medications, and whether you have any events coming up.

Look closely. She evaluates your face from the front and the side, at rest and in motion. The goal is to see how your features work together, including how your muscles pull when you smile or speak. Photos may help the two of you compare before and after.

Agree on a staged plan. The plan sets out what comes first and what can wait. Beginning with the structural areas, often the cheeks or chin, can make later steps smaller. You can stop or adjust at any point.

Treat with care. Product is placed gradually, with checks along the way. Topical numbing or other comfort measures are available, and you can ask any question while it happens. If Botox is included, it is quick and uses very fine needles.

Settle and review. Swelling and tenderness are normal for a few days. Filler continues to settle over about two weeks, and that is usually when a follow-up visit makes sense so you can judge the result and decide on any touch-up.

How long it lasts

HA filler generally lasts about 6 to 12 months, sometimes longer, depending on the area and product. Areas that move more may break down sooner than structural areas. Botox typically takes 3 to 14 days to show its full effect and lasts about 3 to 4 months. Because results are temporary, you are never locked in. If you change your mind about a result, HA filler can be dissolved, and our filler dissolving page explains how that works.

Some Arcadia clients prefer to schedule treatment ahead of a long stretch outdoors or travel, so any bruising has time to fade. Mention your calendar at the consult and Rita will help you plan around it.

What Influences the Cost of Facial Balancing

It is natural to ask what a plan will cost before booking. We do not post prices online, because the figure depends on a plan that does not exist until you have been assessed. Pricing is personalized and discussed at your consultation, so that you hear it alongside the reasoning for each recommendation.

Here is how to think about the factors, particularly if you are comparing options across the corridor.

The size of the plan

A single-area refinement and a full-face plan are different undertakings. Some Arcadia clients begin with one or two areas and add others later. A staged approach allows you to see how the first step looks and feels before committing to more.

Your anatomy

Two people can request the same treatment and need very different amounts. Facial bone structure, skin thickness, natural volume, and the look you are after all change how much product is appropriate. This is why syringe counts you see online can mislead.

Products and techniques

Fillers differ in firmness, flexibility, and how they integrate with tissue. Choosing the right one for the right depth is part of the plan, and it influences both the result and how long it lasts.

Add-ons and upkeep

Some clients combine filler with Botox, with skin treatments such as microneedling, or with a HydraFacial. Others choose collagen-supporting options such as Sculptra and Radiesse. Upkeep is part of cost over time, because temporary treatments need repeating if you want to maintain them.

Ways to save

Members of our VIP programs save 10%. Ask about membership if you expect to come back for maintenance. We will always explain a plan before you agree to it, and there is no obligation to treat at the consultation.

Safety, Who Should Wait, and Caring for Your Results

The information here is general education. It does not replace advice from your own provider, who knows your history.

What is common

Redness, swelling, tenderness, and small bruises are the usual short-term effects. Firmness or slight unevenness can appear while filler settles. These typically improve over days to a couple of weeks. With Botox, mild headache or a small bruise at an injection point can occur.

What is rare but important

Filler can occasionally affect blood flow if it enters or compresses a vessel. This is rare, but it is serious, and it is the reason we emphasize anatomy training and slow, careful placement. After treatment, contact the studio or seek urgent medical help if you develop severe or increasing pain, skin that looks white, gray, or dusky, or any change in vision. Infection, allergic reactions, lumps, and asymmetry are also possible.

Who should not be treated

  • Anyone younger than 18
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Treatment is not recommended, so ask your provider
  • Anyone with an active skin infection, cold sore, or inflammation near the treatment area
  • People with allergies to product ingredients or certain bleeding, autoimmune, or neuromuscular conditions, which you should review with your provider first

Bring a list of your medications and supplements, since blood thinners and some supplements can increase bruising.

After your appointment

  • Keep your head slightly elevated for the first night if swelling bothers you. This is the usual answer for cheek filler aftercare sleeping questions, and your provider may adjust it for you
  • Hold off on intense workouts, saunas, and heavy alcohol as advised
  • Avoid pressing, rubbing, or massaging treated areas unless instructed
  • Wear sunscreen daily, especially on days spent outdoors in Arizona
  • Reach out with any concern, even a small one

Facial Balancing in Arcadia: FAQ

What is facial balancing?

Facial balancing harmonizes the proportions of your lips, chin, cheeks, and jaw together for a natural, balanced result rather than treating one feature on its own.

Is facial balancing surgery?

No. It is a nonsurgical approach using HA filler and Botox, so there is little to no downtime.

Do you serve Arcadia?

Absolutely. Arcadia sits on the Phoenix and Scottsdale border, and plenty of our facial balancing clients come from the neighborhood to our nearby Old Town studio.

How far is your studio from Arcadia?

Our Old Town Scottsdale studio is a short drive east of Arcadia, usually around 10 to 15 minutes depending on where in the neighborhood you begin.

How long do facial balancing results last?

Because facial balancing uses HA filler, results are temporary and adjustable. Filler generally lasts several months to a year, and Rita will recommend a maintenance rhythm at your visit.

How many syringes do you need for cheek fillers?

It depends on your anatomy and goals, so there is no standard number. Some people need a modest amount for subtle support, while others need more or a staged plan. Rita assesses your midface at the Old Town studio and recommends an amount for you, which is more reliable than a general count.

How can you tell if someone has cheek fillers?

Signs can include very high or rounded cheeks, a puffy midface, or reduced natural movement when someone smiles. Filler planned around your proportions is meant to look like subtle support instead. Using a conservative, staged approach is one way to keep results looking natural.

How long do cheek fillers last?

HA cheek filler generally lasts about 6 to 12 months, and sometimes longer, depending on the product and your body. It slowly breaks down over time and can be dissolved if you are unhappy. Your provider can explain what to expect and when to plan a maintenance visit.

Can I remove a cheek implant and replace it with filler?

That is a surgical question, so please discuss it with the surgeon who placed or will remove the implant. Filler can add temporary volume afterward, but it behaves differently from an implant. If you are considering this, bring your history to a consultation so we can talk about realistic options.

Can filler in cheeks irritate sinuses?

Cheek filler goes into facial soft tissue, not the sinus cavities. Brief pressure or swelling can occur, and most people have no sinus trouble. Let your provider know about chronic sinus issues beforehand, and contact them if you develop congestion, increasing pain, or fever after treatment.

How much are cheek fillers?

We do not publish prices. Cost depends on how much filler your cheeks need, the product, and whether other areas are part of your plan. It is discussed at your consultation, and members of our VIP programs save 10%. You will understand the details before choosing to proceed.

What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift, also called a non-surgical facelift, uses filler in multiple areas, sometimes with Botox, to restore support and soften signs of aging without surgery. It does not tighten skin the way surgery can. Facial balancing is related but also considers overall proportion and harmony.

How long does a liquid facelift last?

Duration depends on the products and areas involved. HA filler typically lasts about 6 to 12 months or more, while Botox generally lasts about 3 to 4 months. Because different areas fade at different rates, your provider will suggest a maintenance plan matched to your results.

Does filler in the cheeks lift jowls?

Supporting the midface with filler can sometimes soften the look of early jowling by restoring structure, but it does not tighten loose skin. Results depend on your anatomy, and a plan may include the jawline or chin as well. Your provider can tell you honestly whether it is a good fit.

How much does a liquid facelift cost?

Because a liquid facelift can involve several areas and different amounts of product, there is no single price. Cost is personalized and reviewed at your consultation once your plan is clear. Members save 10% through our VIP programs, and you will know the details before you decide.
